This is another instance where ASTECH pushed the
envelope in new & different directions to come
up with a revolutionary Flight Control System that
is unlike anything currently available. Our goal
was to design a low-cost system that would greatly
simplify the manual control of UAVs for remote
operators to the point that it would be as easy as
driving a car-- throughout the entire flight
envelope (from takeoff to touchdown). Automation
would be used to the maximum extent possible to
minimize operator workloads, prevent
operator-induced errors, protect against limit
exceedences, while helping to ensure mission
success. And this system has applicability to many
other applications besides UAVs. Would this system
